From Our Own Correspondent. The Rongotea Town Board met on Monday night, when there were present Messrs. L. 11. Yarrall (chairman), E. J. Arnott, S, Tcaz, W. Amoy and C. P. Wood (clerk). The following motion was carried in silence, members standing: “That this meeting desires to place on record an appreciation of the splendid service rendered by the late Mr. 11. 11. Hunt to the town and district.” A letter from Mr. J. Gould requested the board to open up a drain alongside his property.—-Granted.
