whether it would bo possible for board members to get an outline of tho proposals. The chairman: That would not be possible. Mr. Hodgens: As a board member 1 have not the faintest idea of what recommendations the executive may be considering. I have been that long on the board that I am concerned about its business, and I object to the new way of doing business. I am not asking for the moon. Mr. Hodgens at this stago mado an objection to the conduct of anothei member, saying that he had no right to snigger, and asked whether it was a board meeting or a fools’ gathering. Continuing, ho said ho would like members to be kept in touch with the proposals. The chairman: It is not possible for me or anyone else to give you an idea of what the executive is going to do. We have problems to face that will require serious consideration. One of the first matters is the estimates, and then there is the question of transport to be faced. However, reports will be brought before the board meetings. Before the meeting dispersed the chairman endorsed Mr. Nash’s welcome to the new members, saying that they were men with experience in local body work and dairy factory management. Ho was sure that they would give valuable service to tho board.
