The Koolman-Bain professional contest provided some good wrestling. Koolman secured a fall in the first round with a head lock and body press, and took tho final fall in the fourth round with the same holt. W. Nicholls (United, Palmerston North) list. 31b., beat T. Awatere (Wellington) 11.2, the only fall going to the Manawatu amateur in the second round from a body press and arm bar. R. Nowth (United), 11.7, boat Reynolds (Wellington) 12.1. The first fall was tho Palmerstonian's with a threequarter Nelson and arm bar and the second with a reverse wrist lock and head scissors. R. Do Cleene (United) beat Godfrey (Wellington).
