Evans to go to Olympiad
Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Last Night. Don C. Evans, the middle-distance runner, will attend the Olympic Games. The expenses were guaranteed at a meeting to-night. Rowing Coach From Wanganui Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Bowing Association tonight it was decided to appoint Mr. C. Healey, of the Union Boat Club, Wanganui, as coach for the New Zealand rowing team for the Olympic Games. It was also decided to assemble the crew at Wellington on June 1 for a fortnight’s training prior to sailing on June 1-1.
