NEW BRIDGE ACROSS THE HUTT RIVER,—A foot-bridge to replace the Haywards traffic bridge swept away by the floods of Easter, 1931, has now been completed and is open for traffic. It crosses the Hutt river in the vicinity of the Stokes Valley road on one side, and Manor park on the other, and is the only means of crossing the river between the Melling and Moonshine bridges.
