Tho recent anti-cyclone has passed away eastward and a vigorous depression is moving rapidly towards tho Dominion, its centre at present being located west of Auckland peninsula. Winds: Modcrato to strong northeasterlies to northerlics reaching gale force in places, changing to southerlies soon in the South Island and generally during to-morrow. Seas (New Zealand waters): Becoming rough generally. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong northerly winds to gale backing soon to equally strong southerlies; seas rough to heavy. Weather: Unsettled, cloudy and misty with general rain and many heavy falls likely; snow on the high country. Temperatures becoming much colder.
