Leading Parachutist and Stunt Flier Visit City
PROGRAMME AT MIL SON TO-MORROW. A "two-man pageant" of a type that has thrilled crowds in centres throughout tho Dominion will bo staged by tho well-known parachutist, "Scotty" Fraser, and Squadron-Leader McGregor, at tho Milson aorodromo to-morrow. On his first visit to Palmerston North several months ago "Scotty" Fraser gave a remarkable exhibition, and to-mor-row’s display has been awaited with the keenest interest. Tho young parachutist has now completed over 100 descents in the Dominion, tho majority being undertaken with tho help of Squad-ron-Leader McGregor. Equal attention will be attached to tho display of stunting to bo given by Squadron-Leader McGregor. A special petrol tank has been fitted to his machino which enables him to fly upside down with tho greatest case and assists in carrying out the unique aerobatic feats that have made his name a byword for skill and daring throughout New Zealand. During the week successful exhibitions were given at Otaki and Shannon, while the pair will be at Feilding this afternoon. To-morrow’s programme at Milson will take place between 2 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., two descents being scheduled.
