.SUCCESSFUL EUCHRE AND DANCE From Our Own Correspondent. A most successful evening was held in tho Coronation Hall, Itongetea, in aid of tho Catholic Church on Wednesday evening. Euchre was played by the non-dancers, tho prize-winners being Mrs. Murphy (51b. tea) and Mr. K. Wilson (701 b. sugar). Miss M. Nix and Mr. L. Meads won tho consolation prizes. The dance music was supplied by Bramwell’s orchestra, from Feilding. Tho Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mr. S. J. Teaz and Mrs. Smith, and Mr. Bond and Miss Arnott, while the “lucky spot’’ prizes went to Mr. Keats and Miss Ellery. At the conclusion of the euchre supper was served, after which dancing was continued, many old-time dances being put on for the older folk.
