FORDELL. The monthly meeting of the Fordcll Women’s Institute was held ou Tuesday aftornon when Airs. Dalo presided over an attendance of over 50 members and visitors. The business of the meeting concluded, Alesdames K. Aiken and R. A. Sutherland delighted those present by their rendering of tho vocal duet, “April Is a Lady,” responding to an emphatic encore with “Nocturne.” A competition of interest to motorists was won by Aliss Christie. An instructive demonstration of moccasin-making, kindly given by Aliss Smith, of Westmere, proved very interesting and helpful. The result of the scone competition was: Mrs.-R. Campbell 1, Airs. .J. Ross 2, Airs. A. Leo 3. A delicious afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostesses, Mesdamcs R. Stewart, H. Campbell, Green, R. Campbell and Miss P. Toomath. The singing of tho National Anthem brought a very enjoyable afternoon to a close.
