Inquiry Expected to be Sensational
NO ALARM GIVEN. ADEN, May 19. Serious disclosures arc expected at tho inquiry. It is stated there had been no fire drills. Some passengers declare that the lifebelts were torn and the hoses rottem, which seems incredible on a maiden voyage. All agree that no alarm was given. Three sailors in a for’ard cabin were uriaware of the fire until two hours after it had gained a hold. Little Hope for the Missing VESSEL STILL BLAZING. ADEN, May 19. Little hope is entertained of tho discovory of the missing passengers of the Phillipar. A Dutch doctor and his wife saw their two children burned to death. Tho Phillipar is still blazing and is drifting northwards. Last of the lU-Fatecl Liner Received Saturday, 2.0 a.m. ADEN, May 20. Tho Phillipar foundered last night.
