Further Investigations In Lindbergh Kidnapping
ADMIRER OF CHILD’S NURSEMAID QUESTIONED New York Times Broadcast. NEWARK, N.J., May 19. Henry ("Red") Johnson, admirer oi Betty Gow, the Lindbergh nursemaid, appeared unexpectedly at Neward police headquarters late to-day, accompanied by two men. They were closetefl with Deputy-Chief Frank Brcx for JO minutes and left for an unannounced destination. Johnson had been held at Ellis Island for deportation since shortly after his arrest at Hartford, Connecticut.
At Flemington, N.J., John Hughes Curtis, Norfolk boatbuilder, was a guest in the Lindbergh homo on Wednesday, but to-day lie is a guest of the ,State of New Jersey. Following his arraignment on Wednesday, charged with giving false information in connection with a criminal investigation, ho was remanded to gaol here, in de fault of 10,000 dollars bail.
