The output of butter from the Cheltenham Dairy Company’s factory for the period of 10 months ended April 30, has reached the 2000 ton mark; this, however, is approximately 200 tons less than the output for the corresponding period for last season, the decrease being due to the unfavourable climatic conditions. , To-day Squadron-Leader McGregor will take passengers for flights all 10s per person from the Feilding racecourse. “Scotty” Fraser will make parachute descents at 2 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. The following programme will be submitted by the Feilding Municipal Band from the Feilding band rotunda to-morrow: March “The Flying Squad” (Hume); hymn, “Fierce Raged the Tempest” (Dykes); selection, “Verde” (Round); dramatic scena, “The Wolf” (Shield); duet, “Watchman, What of the Night,” arr. C. H. Greening (Sarjeant); overture, “Flower Carnival” (Le Due); entraete, “Shadowland” (Hcnshall); march, “Clear the road” (Greenwood); God Save the King.
