Good Driving
SKIDDING’S BEST FOE,
Eain and fog obscure the vision of drivers • and aro the cause of a high percentage of collisions. Drivers will do well to maintain as clear a view ahead as possible by keeping their windshield clean and free of moisture and dirt. Keep the windshield wiper in good condition and when driving keep the side window open at least partially to prevent mist formation on the windshield. A careful driver is the best anti-skidding device. Do not throw out tho clutch if the car starts to skid. Keeping power on helps the wheels retain some traction and may stop the skidding. Keep brakes equalised, drive carefully and skidding will be reduced to a minimum.
