GOOD GENERAL DEMAND. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph. —Copyright. LONDON, April 20. Offerings at the wool sales io-da) were 11,097 bales, including 5872 New Zealand; about 039 bales were sold. Good general demand was met with, and the offerings were well cleared to both Home and Continental buyers at full late rates.. There were some withdrawals ol merinos owing to high selling limits placed on them. New Zealand greasies, “Matapiro,” sold highest BJd, average 6Jd; halfbred, “Woodside,” highest lGd, average 15 Id.
