The Late Mrs Massey
LAID TO REST IN FAMILY TOME. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 21. The funeral of the late Mrs Massey took place this morning and was very largely attended. The weather was beautifully fine. All members of Cabinet- were present and both Houses ot Legislature were .well represented, as wll as the judiciary and women’s social organisations, of which the late Mrs Massey was a member. The service was at St. Andrew s Presbyterian Church, the first portion being taken by the minister, the Rev. R. J. Howie, Canon James, of St. Paul’s pro-Catliedral delivering the address, in which he referred to the fine character of the late Mrs Massey and the work she accomplished. A largo number of wreaths were received from all parts of the Dominion. The interment took place at the Massey tomb at Point Halswell, a brief committal service being conducted by the Eev. Mr Howie.
