Bankrupt Jeweller
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 21. A mooting of creditors was held today in the estate of Victor Brownson, jeweller. Bankrupt’s statement showed that he had entered into a composition with his creditors in February, 1931, and the Official Assignee pointed out that only creditors of Brownson personally had a right to bo at the meeting. Several of those present withdrew and there was no quorum. Brownson’s statement said ho had been carrying on a Willis Street business as manager at £3 10s a week. Tho Official Assignee said the assignment had bcOiiii found to be in order. He suggested that bankrupt might make somo offer. He might pay less in board and so have sonic tiling for his creditors.
Tho unsecured creditors were set down at £lO5 and the assets nil. The meeting adjourned sine die.
