I'Torn Our Own Correspondent. The householders’ meeting held on .Monday last was poorly* attended. Two of the old members in the persons of Mr. T. D. Lynch (chairman ) and Mr. G. Terry*, retired, the committee for the new year being as follows: Messrs, if. Nash, J. Collis, C. Aldrich (secretary), A. Merriman and J). Meßrearty (chairman).
The Basketball Club held their annual meeting, there being a, good attendance of members. Hiss Blake was re-elect-ed hon. secretary. Miss L. Brown, of Palmerston North, very kindly came out to Hie Saturday practice and gave some valuable hints to players. The Ping Pong Club has also started its activities for the, winter evenings.
