Community Sings
Community sings have become very popular in the larger cities in the Domion and as we are now a city it is the duty of someone to provide this popular method of entertaining the musical lovers of Palmerston North, therefore the Palmerston North Garrison Band feel that they have a duty to perform to the citizens, and they have now completed arrangements with Messrs Pritchard and Crowthcr, thoso two wellknown artists from 2YA to lead the singing. These gentlemen will be assisted by local artists as well as items by the band, and judging by tho success of these community sings elsewhere that have been conducted on tho same lines, the houses have been heavily taxed to accommodate the- vast audiences. In fact, hundreds have been turned away. Palmerston North patrons should bo on the scene early on this occasion as tho Opera House here has a limit to its holding capacity
