Clearing Sale Report
The Farmers’ Distributing Co., of Feilding, report having held a clearing sale on account of Mrs. I. M. Olsen, Kelvin Grove. There was a good attendance of buyers and bidding was good for early calving cows; backward sorts made relatively low prices. Quotations: May-June culvers, £5 to £S Ss; later calvers, £4 10s to £5 10s; iu calf heifers, £3 to £5 12s lid; weaner heifers, 30s; Jersey bull, £5 ss.
