Anzae Day, were finalised, and from reports received it is expected that the parade will be the largest ycz held, as all troops have signilied their intention of attending. The Girl Guides arc also parading, and support from this branch of the movement is most encouraging. As some of the (Scoutmasters may not bo able to attend the parade 1 it was decided that Scouts whose Scouters arc not in attendance be asked to join up with other troops. The Rev. Davies, the newlyappointed vicar of .St. Peter's, has consented to officiate at the service.

The Rev. Gerard, group scoutmaster, Pahiatua, delivered a very interesting and instructive lantern lecture upon the world jamboree and scouting in the Old Country. The address was greatly appreciated by a large gathering of Scouts, officers and supporters of the movement-, the commissioner, Air. N. D. Stubbs, expressing the hope that those present would be favoured with another such lecture in the near future. A camp competition, to be held later in the year was discussed, a committee being elected to go further into arrangements. The West End Scoutmaster signified his intention of taking his patrol leaders and seconds into camp over the week-end, with the object of carrying out instructional work.
