Clash Coming in New South Wales CHURCH INSURES ITS PROPERTY United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 20. The Congregational Union decided to insure its property against damage by possible disturbances. The Eev. W, Patinson, at tho half yearly meeting, hjnted at possibilities. “Some might say it is God’s property and we shouid liavo faith. I thijuk wo would bo wise to havo all our church properties insured. Tho position- in New South Wales is very critical. Wo cannot shut our eyes to what is going on.”

Appeal to Public Opinion EAELY ELECTION IN NEW SOUTH WALES. PROBABLY IN JUNE SYDNEY, April 20. The Herald says that, in State political circles, an early general election is regarded as inevitable, although it is difficult to forecast -the political future until the judgment of the High Court is delivered. All State political parties are busy preparing for an election campaign. The opinion in the Parliamentary lobbies is that an election will be held, possibly early in June.

Sta,te Unemployed WEALTH WILL OAKE FOE THEM. MELBOUENE, April 20. The Prime Minister announced at the conclusion of the Premiers’ Conference that the Federal Government would provide financial assistance for tho New South Wales unemployed quite independently of Mr Lang. Arrangements are being made with the Commonwealth Bank for the loan of three millions for allocations to various States for relief work in the approaching winter.
