From Our Own Correspondent. A football match, was played between. two railway teams during’ the ■week-end —Traffic v. Loco. Both sides ivcre minus players. The game was very exciting and was enjoyed by both players and spectators. Traffic proved victorious by 14 points to 13. Mr. S. Hunt proved a very efficient and popular referee. Mrs. W. Bussell and son, of Montreal street, have returned from a visit to Auckland. Mr. Fred Bartlett is on annual leave and was a passenger by the Auckland express on Monday night. Tho friends of Mrs. Hoskings, of Carlyle street, will regret to hear turn she met with an accident while riding her bicycle. Her many friends will wish her a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Richmond, of Montreal (street, motored to Wanganui during tho week-end and wero tho guests of Mrs. Haining, Bury Hill. Mrs. Sinclair, of Carlyle street, has returned home after spending a few days in Auckland. Mr. Field, of Milson's Line, has returned from a visit to Wanganui.' Mr. 8.
