CARD TOURNAMENT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The final series of card tournaments to raise funds for the Plunket Society was held on Saturday night with a &cry good attendance, the prizes for the night being as follow:—(Jribbagc: Airs Monk and Mr 0. Kroger; consolations, Miss Kreger and Mr 11, Thompson; euchre, Mrs J. Rose and Mr T. AI organ; consolations, Miss B. Boucher and Mr P. Martin; winners oil the aggregate prizes, Mrs Collie and Mrs P. Robin-
son, and Messrs Ci. Kroger and T. Morgan. Golf Club. The Golf Club members held their opening day on Saturday when a number of members took advantage of the fine day. There were also a number of visitors from the Mangaweka Club. The best cards for the day were handed in by Miss E. Morgan and Mr D. Couper. Afternoon tea was served in the club house.
