A White Paper has been ' issued which, for tho first time, gives the text of the Anglo-Free Stato • financial agreement relating to land annuities. The signatories are Mr J. W. Hills for Britain and Mr Cosgravc for the Free State.
The present publication is the sequel to Mr Dc Valera’s statement that the Free State was unaware of any formal explicit undertaking in respect to the payments. Tli-c Agreement contains the Free State Government’s undertaking lo pay the annuities at agreed intervals and accepting the responsibility of collecting the money from the tenant purchasers. Other sections deal with outstanding financial questions between two Governments, including the Royal Irish Constabulary, po-nsions liabilities and losses in the Irish rebellion of 1010.
