REWARDS FOR LOYAL CONVICTS United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON. April IS. Sir Herbert Samuel, the Home Secretary, in reply to a question in the House of Commons, said ho proposed recommending a special remission of sentences to certain convicts in respect of meritorious service during the recent disturbances. It was undesirable to announce these till the conclusion of the criminal proceedings against the others.
