Gaol for Town Clerk
STOLE OVER £IOOO. Per Pross Association. WELLINGTON, Monday. Jaimes Wm. Harbord, formerly Town Clerk of Upper Ilutt, was sentenced by Mr Justice McGregor to two years’ imprisonment for theft of Borough funds totalling £lll4 3s Id. Harbord had pleaded guilty. The judgo said it was hopeless to make any excuse.
