Unsettled Conditions Coming Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone still covers New Zealand but. it has been gradually losing intensity and a ■ rather vigorous depression is now located over southeastern Australia. Winds: Light and variable at first but northerlies soon prevailing and later freshening in and south of Cook Strait. Seas (New Zealand waters): Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Freshening northeast to north winds with smooth to moderate, but later rising seas. Weather: Fine and mud generally but haze and cloud increasing and later conditions becoming unsettled in western and far southern districts; some morning fogs probable.
