Wanganui Bride Wears Ivory Velvet

Her veil of embroidered tulle was arranged with a pearl headdress, and she carried a sheaf of Aladonna lilies. Two bridesmaids, Alisscs Jean Izard (chief) and Beatrice Cowper (Danncvirko), wore frocks of horizon blue velvet cut on the same linos as the bride’s frock, and finished with bustle bows. They wore headdresses of bluo velvet flowers, and carried sheaves of autumn flowers and leaves. Air Douglas Earle was best man, and Air Jack Marsh groomsman. Immediate relatives and a few old friends were afterwards entertained by ADs Cowper at “Lyncairne,” which was lavishly decorated with zinnias and hydrangeas. Airs Cowper wore a frock of Lido bluo marocain with squirrel furs, and hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of autumn roses. Airs F. Brcttagh (sister of the bride) was in a black crepe do chine frock patterned with emerald green, and a green glengarry felt hat. The bride travelled in a nigger brown tweed suit flocked with red and a smart brown hat.
