For the third time recently one of Mr. Boyd Davis’ horses has won a race as the result of a spurt on hearing, the trainer’s whistle. There was an unprecedented scene at Derby when Signil’cr spurted and the crowd joined the owner in whistling., The Daily Telegraph says that never lias a winner had such an extraordinary reception.
