Only two matches had been played and in both the Bunnytkorpo team had mot defeat, but nevertheless tho players had had an enjoyablo time. The greens had been kept in good order by the gr'cenkecper appointed for the purpose. During September of last year, Mr. F. Patience, tho original secretary and prime organiser of tho club, had moved ' to the Whakatano district and on his retirement from tho club Mr. A. Maxwell was appointed secretary. Duo reference was mado to Mr. Patience’s valuable services to tho club sinco its inception, and tho meeting decided to forward a letter of appreciation to him. The balance sheet showed receipts £3l 0s 2id and a credit balance of £lB 4s old. The election of officers for the ensuing season took place and resulted as follows:—Secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. C. The rpiestiou of a suitablo golf house was raised and satisfactory arrangements are to bo made. Arrangements for a greenkeeper were left in the hands or the committee. It was reported that the greens were in satisfactory condition at present and would not require much attention to put them in firstclass order. A vote of thanks was extended to Mr. W. T. Maxwell for allowing the uso of his property for tho golf links. Other minor matters were dealt with and, with the usual vote of thanks to the chair, tho meeting closed. Biflo Club.

Last Monday, evening tho Bunny-t-horpe Miniature Rifle Club held its first weekly shoot of the season. Four teen shootists took their places on the mound but it is expected that there will be larger attendances at subsequent shoots. The average attendance last season was about 20 per night, and the majority of last year’s members have intimated their intention of rejoining the club. The following are the scores registered during the evening:—W. Salmon 13.3, A. E. Guy 132, B. Mitchell 132, H. Hughes 131, R. Park 131, B. Withers 131, L. Baikes 129, A. McMurray 128, A. O’Donnell 127, J. Goro 123, G. Grant 122, C. Pentecost 119, C. Cheotham 117, R, Clark 114. Considering the fact that the ammunition was free for tho opening shoot it is surprising that the attendance was not larger. Henceforth, the charge for ammunition will be Is per evening, but will bo free for the travelling mate’-es. The annual householders meeting will be held in the school this evening. As there are matters of importance which may be discussed a good attendance is desired.
