MEETING OF COMMITTEE The Feilding A. and P. Association met on Friday evening, -Mr- L. J. Mild (president) presiding. There were also present Messrs. E. P. C. Swainson, F. •). Bodily, 11. J. Lancaster, J. Knight, I) L. Younger, N. E. Gifford, N J. Short, 8.-McLeod, B. Johnston, J. B. Johnston, J. Whisker, D. W. Reid, R. H. Buchanan, T. Collins, J. M. Campbell, K. 'Whisker and C. Evans.

Donations wore acknowledged from the following: E. M. Hare, IV. A. Kyle, IV. C. Small, A. E. Anderson, £1 1/ each; Mrs. A. J. Humphreys, £2 2/; .7. Knight, £3; L. J. Wild, £1 70/; D. Whisker, £1; G. Wells, 13/. Donations to tho 1933 show were received as follows: H. B. Johnston, returning the Johnston Cup for further competition on tho same conditions a 3 previously; anonymous donor, two trophies for girl riders and a silver trophy for the best lady rider at the show; Pcilding Beekeepers’ Association, 10/ for honey class; 0. Nelson, re-donating Elliott Cup for further competition in the hunters’ class tinder tho same conditions as previously. Tho thanks of the association are to bo sent, to some 15 judges at the recent show who donated their expenses to the association.

Suggestions regarding judges’ duties from Messrs. J. Blair and W. K. Morton wore referred to the respective schedule committees. It was decided to write to the Canterbury A. and P. Association asking whether any further information was available respecting tho proposals for a scheme for improving stock breeding.
