Search for Slayer
SUSPECT THOUGHT TO BE HjIDINU IN SCRUB United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Friday, 8.5 p.m. SYDNEY, April 15. A warrant was issued to-day for the arrest of William Fletcher, alias Moxley, on a charge of murdering Francis Wilkinson and Dorothy Denzel. The police are convinced' that their man is hiding in the scrub in the Liverpool district, where the atrocious crime was committed, and declare he has no possible chance of escape. A person answering his description early this morning visited a dairy at Bankstown and said: “For goodness’ sake give me a drink.” Tho dogs were put on him and he disappeared in tho darkness. Large parties of civilians are helping in the search.
