Rogers Cup. The club has been fortunate in having a very fine cup donated by Mr, D. J. Rogers (of the C. M. Ross Co., Ltd.) for competition amongst members. It has been decided to award the cup to the player securing the highest aggregate of points for all competitions throughout the season, points in each competition being allotted for the first five placings.

Course Improving All The Time. The heavy rain which fell during last week has done an immense amount or good out at Tc Matai and the course is said to be a hundred per cent, better than it was on opening day. The grass has come on well on tho fairways ana the greens are responding to tho attention they have had this week, and are beginning to show the polish which is only to be expected with such a fine sward.

The committee has been considcJing the question of bunkering and a scheme has been drawn up for submission to a meeting to be held at an early date. The bunkers have already boon planned and as soon as authority is available Jock Gibb will give tho necessary orders for a start to bo made with the work.
