Enveloped in Blazing Wax
YOUNG WOMAN RECEIVES FATAL INJURIES Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Enveloped in flames from blazing wax which had spilled over her, Aliss Pearl Cunnold, aged 22, of Sandringham, received fatal burns while working at the factory of Bock and Co., chemists, Dominion road, to-day. It is thought the girl heated a tin of wax on the stove and when the wax ignited, she accidentally tipped some on to her clothing. Aliss Cunnold. was taken to hospital where she died some hours later.
