To Keep Mats Tidy
When putting down new Tugs and carpets, sew hat wire round the small mats. It keeps them fiat and tidy, and prevents them curling up at the corncore. By sewing a broad piece of webing all round the edges on the underside of a new carpet, its life and service are prolonged. Carpets so treated arc much less likely to fray at tho edges.
