The Plunket Shield match between Otago and Wellington commenced this afternoon after a delay of three hours owing to rain. The wicket was soft and easy. Otago batted first and made 211, after losing seven wickets for 64. Dickinson (52) and Moloney (55) stopped the rot just in time.
