Obituary
MRS. H. A. KINGSBEER There passed away early yesterday morning at her residence, Albert street, another of Palmerston North’s early settlers in the person of Mrs. H. A. Kingsbeer, widow of tho lato Mr. A. J. Kingsbccr. AVitli her husband, tho deceased lady arrived in New Zealand about 56 years ago on tho ship Mcrope from England. They settled in Canterbury, from whero they went to Wellington, subsequently coming to Palmerston North, whero Mrs. Kingsbeer had resided ever since. Of a retiring disposition, tho deceased was loved by all who came in contact with her. She is mourned by a grown-up family of two daughters—Mrs. T. Kershaw (Palmerston North) and Mrs. F. 0. Amos (Palmerston North) —and five sons— Messrs. J. Kingsbeer (Palmerston North), G. W. Kingsbeer (Levin), F. D. Kingsbeer (Palmerston North), H. J. Kingsbeer (Stratford) and W. Y. Kingsbeer (Palmerston North). One daughter, Mrs. J. R. McCall, predeceased her four years ago. There are 23 grandchildren and two great-grand-children.
