Tunhridgo Beats Snow Prince. The Woodvillo owned and trained Tunbridge accounted for the favourite, Snow Prince, in the hurdles for which the throe at the top of the card carried most of the money. Snow Prince was first away after an indifferent start and he led into the straight from Arrowhead and Okapuu. Snow Prince jumped badly and Arrowhead was in command when they turned out of the straight, the order then being Arrowhead, Snow Prince, Okapua, Tunbridge, Whisogne and Princess Elizabeth. Tunbridge moved up fast going along the back and ho look up tho running from Snow Prince and Arrowhead going across the top, the leaders being unchanged into tho straight. Tunbridge had a commanding lead when lie had negotiated tho last fence and ho was uot extended to win by a length from Snow Prince with a gap of three lengths to Arrowhead. Tim order across tiro top and into the straight was Sastrugi, Hoihoma, Priscilla Vorno .and Paioneouc but once they straightened up Hoihoma quickly gathered in the leader and went on to win easily by two lengths from Sastrugi, In Vain .finishing front well back to get within half a length of Sastrugi. Broken Itule was fourth, followed by Pukepupa, Chief Marionette, Priscilla Verne and Dakar. Patearoa—With Something in Reserve. There were seven starters in the Electric Hack Handicap, Hystride aud Beaeoiisficld carrying most money. The Awapuni-trained Patearoa was quickest to begin and when the lield had settled down the leaders were Patearoa, Beaconslield, Sanguine King and Bystride. When the tapes went up Habit raced to the front tu lead round the turn from Statuary, Euauui and Desert Song and the order was unaltered along the back. Patcaroa was .first away from luvictus and Swiftray but going along the back Invictus dropped back and tho order four furlongs from homo was Patearoa, Swiftray, Blacksmith, Paratoo and Invictus. There was little between the four os (hey turned for homo but in tho run to the judgo tho iavourito quickly assumed command and went on to win easily by three-quarters of a length from Patearoa with Invietus a neck away third. Swiftray was fourth.

Leisuro Wins Again. Tho public went for Equitant, Leisure and Arikiimi in tho sprint and from a good start Equitant led out from Leisure, Acora aud Arikinui. The leaders were unaltered to the straight but once in line Leisure drew out to win easily by over a length, roni Acora. Arikinui was half a length away third and Equitant, which did not go on with it in tho straight was fourth. Farewell Handicap to The Budget. The. public went for Hoihoma and Interlocutor in tho last race but it was won easily by The Budget which paid a good price. When the barrier went up Abbey Queen was in front from The Budget, Hoihoma, Haulbowlinc and Interlocutor. Tho Budget led into the straight from Haulbowlinc aid Arastar with the rest iu a bunch but over flic last bit The Budget was not extended to win by two lengths from Hystride, with Arastar a similar distance away third. Interlocutor was fourth, followed by Hoihoma, Priscilla Verne and Happy Hit.
