The Marton Jockey Club’s summer fixture was brought to a successful conclusion on Saturday In fine weather and before a satisfactory attendance of the public. The Aldworth Stakes was won by Habit after an exciting finish with Ruamii and Desert Song which filled the other places. The Telegraph. Handicap resulted in another victory l'or Leisure which scored convincingly from Accra and Arikinui. The totalisator handled £5526 10s for the seven races, as compared with £11,310 10s for eight events on the corresponding day last year. The figures for the meeting were £14,578 10s, as against £27,340 for the summer meeting last year, the decrease being £12,761 10s. Pollowing are the detailed results:—-
