TRAGIC END TO PICNIC
WOMEN TOTALLY BLINDED A picnic party, comprising five couples', which left Montreal in a motor truck recently, had a tragic ending. While three of the men built a fire and prepared lunch in the country, the other two men and the five women wandered into the forest. They found ail unused cabin, and inside was a red box, which they brought outside and opened. Powder caps exploded a dozen sticks of dynamite. Both men were killed instantly. The five women were thrown to the grass. Their eyes were seared by the flame, and all except one was totally blinded.
