Happy Evening at Studio Dance

In the artistic surroundings of Miss Gwen Gibbs’ studio last evening members of her junior ballroom class spent a very bappy time dancing to bright musie and with the added attraction of competitions. At suppor time there was a very pleasing little incident when Miss Jean Reid took the opportunity, on behalf of tho class members, to mark Miss Gibbs’ birthday, which had been celebrated that day, by wishing her “many happy returns of tno day." In doing so Miss Reid presented Miss Gibbs with a lovely bouquet of violets and a case of toilet requisites. Miss Gibbs, who was completely taken by surprise, expressed her thanks and everyone joined in singing “For She's a Jolly Good Follow.’’ Among thoso present were Misses J. Reid, Lovelock, Sinclair, McDonald, Raven, Lees, Bowden, A’Court, Stevens, Burrows, Stewart, Brown, Godfrey, McNeil, Linklator, Messrs Apatario, Grant, Reed, Laing, Boag, McNeil, Linklator, ]sank, Yortt, Osborne, Raven, Spencer, Gilbert and Korrigan. Miss Gibbs was wearing ,a graceful frock of floral georgetto with a coatee of tho same material bordered with fur.
