The house was unoccupied. at the time, Mrs. Robertson ...ajvUcbild being in Auckland owing to a and Mr. Robertson Was spending the evening with neighbours, Mr. and Mrs. H. Proctor. About 10 o’clock it was noticed that the house was on fire, but when Mr. Robertson rushed over with Mr. Proctor the v, dwelling was a blazing inferno and nothing could be saved except the separator in a shod adjoining. Mr. and Mrs. Robertson lost all their wedding - presents. The house: was insured for £BSO, and the contents for £l5O.
