ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Danncvirkc Co-op. Dairy Company was held on Wednesday at Ihe Umutaroa factory, when Mr. M. Walshc, chairman of directors presided. The annual report revealed tho following statistics:—Milk received, 3,214,3091b5.; butterfat, 140,557ib5.; average test, 4.37. Cheese made, 301,5001bs. (101 tons, 7 cwt., 2qrs., 201b5.); lbs. milk to lib. cheese, Dibs.; lbs. cheese to lib. butterfat, 2.5771b5.; cost of manufacture per lb. cheese placed on trucks at Mangatera, including expenses aud amount written off and taking into consideration amount received for cream, Is 3d. Tho balance-sheet showed the sum handled during the year as £7530 19s, and £4BBB as having been paid out in advances to suppliers. Working expenses had taken £2089 and £248 had been written off for depreciation. Of the retiring directors, Messrs. C. Larsen and E. W. Bradford, tho former did not seek re-election. Mr. Bradford was re-elected and the vacancy was filled by the election of Mr. W. McMillan.
Mr. N. Wcbley Avas re-appointed auditor.
A bonus of lOd per lb. Avas paid out. Votes of thanks Avere accorded the manager, secretary and staff. At a subsequent meeting of the directorate, Mr. Walsh was re-elected chairman.
