Teachers’ Appointments For Wanganui District
At this week’s meeting of the Wanganui Education Board the following reports were made relative to the appointments and reorganisation of teachers: The following appointments have been confirmed: —•
Greatford, Miss K. Graham, assistant; Otamakapua, Mr. J. H. Blackman, sole teacher; Parewanui, Mr. G. C. Abraham, sole teacher; Ngaturi, Miss W. Swan, sole teacher; Kimboiton, Mr. C. L. Matthews, solo teacher; Colyton, Miss G. E. Ranson, assistant; Coal Creek, Mr. D. L. Jackson, sole teacher; Stanway, Mrs. M. Turner, sole teacher; Taikapo, Mr. A. H. Denne, head teacher; Wostmere, Mr. R. D. Mcßae, head teacher; Tokorangi, Mr. D. G. Warner, head teacher. Resignations: Middle Road, Mr. A. 13. Wills, sole teacher; Rata-iti, Mr. H. M. Smith, sole teacher; Koeke Junction, Mr. P. J. Stockman, sole teacher; Queen’s Park, Mr. W. J. Metcalfe, assistant; Raetihi, Mr. D. A. McPherson, head teacher. The following are at present on the relieving staff: — Acting head teachers: Mr. D. P. MeMurray, Tokorangi; Mr. D. A, Blue, Okoia. Acting solo teachers: Mr. R. L. Tasker, Otamakapua; Mr. J. Dwyer, Pokako; Mr. C. Nolan, Mount View; Mr. E. Naumann, Parewanui; Mr. D. R. Salter, Kimboiton; Mr. E. P. Hextall, Coal Creek. Acting assistants: Mr. E. Brown, Westmere; Miss O. Wellard, Wanganui Central Infants; Mr. N. Arnadio, Eytton Street; Mr. W. J. Dive, Toihape; Miss M. Sloggett, Queen’s Park; Miss M. E. Harrison, Wanganui East. The following school commissioners have been appointed:—Omahina: Messrs R. Symes and P. Gilligan. Ngawaka: Mr. J. Stodart.
