“Hoover Wine"
1931 RHINE VINTAGE,
STRASBOURG, Aug. 3. In accordance with tho custom of specially naming Rhine vintages it bad been intended to call the 1931 vintage "depression wine." In consequence of the Hoover moratorium plan the name has been altered to "Hoover wine." Last year’s vintage was called "evacuation wine" to commemorate the French withdrawal from the Rhineland.
