Tho New Zealand cricketers arc enjoying three days’ rest. No restrictions have bc:n placed on the players, a wl several of them are visiting friends.
Tho team will assemble at Manchester to-morrow for the third Test, opouing on Saturday. All the players are lit. The weather outlook is reported to be unfavourable.
Larwood, the English bowler, ; recovered fully from his injuries. He bowled with exceptional pace against Leicestershire at Nottingham to-day, taking six wi-kets for 49 runs, four of the batsmen being clean bowled.
