Substance That Causes Cancer
PROBABLY A TAR PRODUCT. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Aug. 13. Referring to the cablegram that research workers have discovered a pure substance that produces cancer in a large proportion of eases, Dr. Begg, who is engaged in cancer research here, states that he thinks it probable that the discoverey relates to a chemical substance from one of the tar products.
