Re-opening N.S.W. Savings Bank
LANG ARRANGES FINANCE United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Friday, 12.30 a.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 13. The movement to resuscitate the Now South Wales Government Savings Bank is taking definite sliapo with the announcement that the Government _ has obtained the consent of four prominent business men prepared to act as trustees of the proposed reconstructed bank, also that upwards of £15,000,000 of London money is believed to have been on offer from the Midland Bank. Well-informed persons, howeveT, express the opinion that the necessary financial accommodation will bo arranged locally. , The bill for the reconstruction of tnc bank will be introduced next week.
