Prize Money in Wrestling Bout
KARA PASHA’S VIEW Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 13. “I did fulfil my contract. I have never wrestled harder in my life, and I don’t see why I should give up £100," declared Kara Pasha, replying to the charges made by the Wanganui Wrestling Association concerning the bout between Kara Pasha and Stanley Pinto Inst Saturday. The association declared that the bout was not fair and had decided to withhold the prize money. “1 don’t sec how they are going to keep back the money," Kara said. “We wrestled eight rounds and the decision was given. The crowd enjoyed the match all right, and it was only a few people round the ringside who made the trouble. They started throwing pennies in the ring before th bout started."
