"Ghosts” in Church
LONDON, Aug. G. Terrified by mysterious noises frequently Learn from the church organ at Copiford, Essex, the recalled that the cuurca had been raided centuries ago by maiaudiug Danes, who had been caught, fiayed alive, and burned, and whose skins had been tanned and fastened to the doors, where they remain. The superstitious refused to enter the church. The rector, however, called in an organ expert, who reported that the noises came from pipes disarranged by the recent earthquake.
